Beats for Books fundraiser a big success!

A few hundred people crowded The Spot Bouldering Gym last night for our second annual Beats for Books fundraising event, donating between $6000 and $7000 toward girls' education. We are so thrilled to have received such magnificent support from the community. Thank you!

A number of world-class professional climbers will be teaching clinics at the Beats for Books event this Tuesday, October 7th. Bidding on our rock climbing and mountain biking athletes opened just a few days ago, and the first bid is already in! A to-be-announced-later couple bid $200 for the Alpine Journal's dynamic editor and alpine climber extraordinaire, Kelly Cordes. Do I hear $250, $250 in the audience?
